Rob Brodsky is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legacy, a boutique athlete management and consulting firm dedicated to creating life-changing opportunities for athletes through recruiting support, NIL guidance, branding, international exposure, and athlete development.
With more than 20 years of experience coaching and working around sports, Rob has developed a deep understanding of the challenges athletes face navigating competitive landscapes. He witnessed talented athletes fall through the cracks due to a lack of guidance, which became the foundation for Legacy.
Rob founded Legacy with a vision extending far beyond traditional recruiting, focusing on long-term growth and meaningful relationships. Under his leadership, the platform evolved into an athlete-focused ecosystem centered around mentorship, exposure, and strategic partnerships to help athletes maximize their potential.
Rob firmly believes that every athlete deserves an opportunity regardless of background. Known for his relationship-driven approach, he continues to expand Legacy’s reach to create lasting impact for the next generation. At the center of his philosophy is one core belief: “Legacy isn’t given, it’s built.”
Hector Ortega
Director of Latin American Sports Relations
Hector Ortega is a respected educator, coach, athletic administrator, and sports development leader with more than 30 years of experience impacting athletes and communities throughout Mexico and internationally. His career has been defined by a commitment to athlete development, educational leadership, and creating opportunities through sports.
Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from EBC – Banking and Commercial University in Mexico City, a Master's Degree in Administrative Management in Digital Environments from Universidad Hispano, and a Sports Coaching Diploma, Hector combines strong academic credentials with extensive real-world experience in athletics, education, and organizational leadership.
Throughout his distinguished career, Hector has served as a School Athletic Director for more than 12 years and as an educator for over 18 years, helping shape both athletic and academic programs that emphasize discipline, leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.
As a coach, Hector brings over three decades of experience in American football, having worked with numerous organizations and teams while developing athletes at youth, high school, and elite levels. A former player and champion himself, he competed with organizations including UPIICSA, Troyanos, and Guerreros Mayas before transitioning into coaching and program leadership.
Hector is the Founder and Head Coach of the Águilas de Mérida American Football Program, where he has built one of the region's most respected football organizations. Under his leadership, Águilas de Mérida has achieved success across multiple divisions, including youth, junior, women's flag football, and women's tackle football. His accomplishments include leading the Águilas de Mérida Women's American Football Team to a National Championship in 2022.
Beyond coaching, Hector has become a recognized leader in international sports development. He has organized and coordinated numerous sporting events, tournaments, and international competitions, including the Yucatán vs. Florida Union Bowl, which has strengthened athletic and cultural connections between Mexico and the United States since 2019. He also played a key role in organizing international travel opportunities for athletes, including leading the Águilas Flag Football Team to Florida for competition and exposure.
His expertise extends to tournament operations, event management, athlete development, and state-level competition, having served as a coach for Yucatán's U15 and Women's State Representative Teams in regional and national competitions.
In recognition of his lifelong dedication to youth sports and athlete development, Hector was inducted into the Central Florida Youth Football Hall of Fame, Class of 2025.
Today, Hector continues to serve as a mentor, coach, and advocate for athletes, helping create pathways for growth, competition, and international opportunities while making a lasting impact on the next generation of sports leaders.
