Showcase Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable except as outlined below.

• If an athlete becomes unable to attend a selected showcase and written notice is provided at least thirty (30) days prior to the event date, the registration fee will be refunded minus a $20 administrative processing fee.

• If an athlete is unable to attend within thirty (30) days of the showcase for reasons other than a verified injury, no refund will be issued. However, the athlete may request to transfer their registration to a future showcase, subject to availability and approval by .

• If an athlete sustains an injury within thirty (30) days of the showcase and is unable to participate, a refund will be issued minus the $20 administrative processing fee, provided a written note from a licensed physician is submitted prior to the event.

• Cancellations made within twenty-nine (29) days of the event without documented medical verification are not eligible for refunds.

• All refund requests must be submitted in writing.

• Administrative and processing fees are non-refundable.

• Registrations are non-transferable between athletes.

• reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify an event due to weather, facility issues, low enrollment, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, participants may receive a credit toward a future event or a refund at the organization’s discretion.

LEGACY SELECT SHOWCASE

GENERAL RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY & MEDIA AUTHORIZATION

THE ATHLETE’S PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING LEGACY SELECT SHOWCASE GENERAL RELEASE AGREEMENT:

As a participant in a Legacy Select Showcase Tournament or Event (“Event”), I acknowledge and understand that participation in athletic activities and sporting events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, permanent disability, paralysis, property damage, and death.

In consideration for participation in the Event, I hereby voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Legacy Select Showcase, Legacy Consulting & Sports Management Group, and its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, event staff, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, sponsors, facility operators, scouts, coaches, partners, and associated organizations (collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the Event, including but not limited to claims involving negligence, personal injury, illness, property damage, or wrongful death, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, future or contingent.

I understand and acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that I assume all risks associated with participation in the Event.

In the event that emergency medical treatment becomes necessary, I authorize the Event supervisors, staff, athletic trainers, medical personnel, or emergency responders to secure and administer medical treatment deemed necessary in their discretion. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of participation in the Event.

I further agree that neither Legacy Select Showcase nor any of the Releasees shall be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property or equipment.

I covenant and agree that I will not now or at any time in the future directly or indirectly commence, prosecute, or participate in any action, suit, claim, or proceeding against the Releasees arising out of or relating to any claims waived, released, or discharged herein.

MEDIA RELEASE & AUTHORIZATION

For valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I grant Legacy Select Showcase and Legacy Consulting & Sports Management Group the unrestricted right and permission to photograph, videotape, record, edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise use my or my child’s name, image, likeness, voice, appearance, biographical information, athletic performance, and statements (collectively, the “Materials”) obtained in connection with the Event.

I understand and agree that such Materials may be used in any format or media now known or later developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, including but not limited to:

• Social media

• Websites

• Promotional materials

• Recruiting content

• Highlight videos

• Advertising campaigns

• Broadcast or streaming platforms

• Print and digital publications

I acknowledge that no compensation, royalties, or additional notice shall be provided for such use, and I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or its use.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT

I certify that I have carefully read and fully understand this General Release, Waiver of Liability, and Media Authorization Agreement.

I understand that by agreeing to this document, I am waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.

I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement voluntarily and of my own free will, with full understanding of the risks involved.

If signing on behalf of a minor participant, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant and have the legal authority to execute this Agreement on their behalf.

IMPORTANT

You must select “I AGREE” in order for the registered athlete to participate in any Legacy Select Showcase Tournament or Event.
